Tape shows Brown sent warnings of disaster Now we have a fair idea where the push to release the videos showing George Bush displaying no interest in Hurricane Katrina came from. Michael Brown is making the cable news rounds telling his tale of woe. Screamer Matthews (Hardball) asked him how he would rate himself on a scale of 1 to 10. Brownie gave himself a 5, Bush a 5, and Chertoff a delicious 2! Brownie's claim is that Chertoff wouldn't let him do his job. He sounds a heckuva lot more knowledgeable since he was fired. Maybe he boned up. I'm delighted to see Chertoff, that arrogant lying asshole, finally getting some bad press. Hardball Transcripts (Today's not up yet.)
