And how many returning vets with legs, arms, other body parts blown off, infected, fucked forever? Will we ever even have a ballpark figure? My sister has gotten so enraged over the insipid "Support the Troops" stickers that she is now devising a sticker with my help that will tell the bushbots to put their fucking money where their mouth is...when was the last time ANY of them went and volunteered at a VA hospital, emptied a bedpan or read a story to a now-blind soldier? WHEN HAVE THEY EVER done a fucking THING except spout bullshit? On the other hand, my sister is volunteering as a ward assistant at the VA.
On this sad third anniversary time, I am wavering between rage and despair simply at the lives destroyed and the ones who will soon be gone next. This is insanity. Criminal insanity. I wholeheartedly agree, Panda, that the whole lot of them should be on trial for war crimes and imprisoned for the rest of their stinking lives. TROOPS HOME NOW!!!!
We can hope...even Hitler's reign of terror came to an end...but it took 12 miserable years. With inflation, I'd say Chimp's time is up this year.
Don't despair, there are more of us than there are of them. As soon as we take back the House, then the Senate...trial time.
Funny how all those returning Iraq Vets are running for Congress as DEMOCRATS, isn't it? The boots and stumps on the ground know the truth.
