The Bush misadminstration is focused on stirring up as much hatred, fear and nasty political lying as possible before the anniversary of 9/11. They're busily pounding the war drums on Iran, and attacking any adversaries, real or imagined, home and abroad. The references they have made to Nazis are pure projection. The true Nazi Fascists currently occupy the White House. They don't give a fuck about the troops, Katrina survivors, or any of the rest of us...unless you're a wealthy donor.

Bush has made us safe Cheney told the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Reno on Monday.
"No one can guarantee that we won’t be struck again. But to have come this far without another attack is no accident"... "A precipitous withdrawal from Iraq would be a victory for the terrorists, an invitation to further violence against free nations, and a ruinous blow to the future security of the United States" he said."We have only two options in Iraq – victory or defeat."
Cheney, Rumsfeld and Condosleezza paved the way earlier in the week for the rheumy eyed one to hit the viciousness trail.

There are too many lies to dissect, e.g.
Recent appearances of protestors at military funerals, mocking the dead and insulting their families in their hour of grief, are an outrage. Liar. Fred Phelps and his religious whackjobs from Kansas are the only "protestors" to do such a disgusting thing.
In just two weeks the calendar will read again September 11th, and our minds will go back to that day five years ago, when enemies struck our country with acts of stealth and murder. But not Iraqis.

The annual convention of the American Legion veterans in Salt Lake City, Utah, attracted rabid Chickenhawks to spew more lies and set the tone for the upcoming deluge of remember 9/11. It can happen again, remember, be frightened, let us do what we want, we're protecting you, let us take your rights, they'll only hurt you. I sure wish some of the folks in the VFW and American Legion would speak out against the obvious fascists among us and stop being used in the propaganda catapult.
