It's weighty information, some can't handle intrusions into their carefully constructed reality. Knowing means having to defend or want to fix it. And that's haaaaaard work. Nope, blinders-on, head-in-sand, until-it's-too-late is the option many people choose. Not a very sound plan for the future.
