Liars Club

Bush is standing by his enormous man. Hastert is a known liar. Bush is a known liar too. They've got a perfect relationship. Bush has nothing to lose by backing up H'asstert. Fewer problems for him with his pal Dennis in place.

Bush strongly backs embattled House leader amid sex scandal
"I am proud to be standing with the current speaker of the House who is going to be the future speaker of the House," Bush said in Chicago as he campaigned for two Republican candidates. "Speaker Dennis Hastert has a long record of accomplishments. He is not one of those Washington politicians who spew a lot of hot air. He just gets the job done," he said."He has delivered results for the people," Bush said. "This country is better off with Dennis Hastert as a speaker."

Bush Is Said to Have No Plan if GOP Loses
Well, we knew they were arrogant and smug but does this mean they've got the machines rigged, the disenfranchisements complete, another dastardly distractive plan? When they're happy, something's up. I don't trust them AT ALL. There are always plans. Always contingency plans.
The script thickens.
At the president's news conference on Wednesday, allies of his father complained that the president seemed dismissive of former Secretary of State James Baker, who remains close to his dad and is cochairman of a bipartisan panel studying the war in Iraq.
"I think it's good to have some of our elder statesmen–I hate to call Baker an elder statesman–but to go over there and take a look, and to come back and make recommendations," Bush said. Baker fans felt this made the former secretary seem part of a bygone era. There is also considerable criticism of Bush for making little or no news in his 63-minute encounter with the press. "He had nothing to say at the press conference," says a prominent GOP insider. "My question is, why call it?"

Hastert ISN'T really taking any responsibility.

No matter what comes up...they can always BLAME CLINTON!
