Rove Going Underground

Rover isn't really going anywhere. He'll still be in contact with Bush. He's leaving the White House as Congressional investigations are getting too close. It makes no sense for him to quit so close to the end of the thug regime unless it's to be out of the spotlight. They speechified and hugged and off they went...on our plane, to the vacation "ranch" at Crawford, Texas.
Crawford Vacation

"It seems the right time to start thinking about the next chapter in our family's life," Rove said, his voice breaking. "It's not been an easy decision."
...
"It always seemed there was a better time to leave, somewhere out there in the future. But now is the time." He told Bush he would be "your fierce and committed advocate on the outside."

Rove's Next Chapter
He'll still have executive privilege cover from Lieboy. This changes nothing in terms of getting the truth out of him. He'll just be less accessible, if that's possible, in the most secretive "administration" in our history. Out of sight...up to no good.
We’ve been friends for a long time and we’re still going to be friends. I would call Karl Rove a dear friend. We’ve known each other as youngsters interested in serving our state. We worked together so we could be in a position to serve this country.-Bush

Out of harm's way.

Rove quits. But he won't be far away.
"Karl Rove is moving on down the road," Bush said as the two appeared together for an emotional coda to their 14-year political partnership. A few moments later, he turned to Rove and added: "I'll be on the road behind you here in a little bit." Rove's voice quavered as he spoke, and the two hugged before flying off to Texas together for vacation.

Get on that road behind Rover asap...for the good of the nation and the world.

Parting is such sweet sorrow.
I love you, man.

Bush on Vacation AGAIN!

Bush Bucks Ahoy
Thursday to Monday at Kennebunkport then he's off to Crawford.
Supposedly he's monitoring the economy, and "encouraging news" from Iraq. No mention of the trapped Utah miners.

Bushwhacked Economy

Another lying "press conference".
The pre-selected questioners asked WH-front-loaded questions prefaced by misinformation. Bush wasn't called on any lies. The compliant right wing MSM is just as responsible as this thieving administration for the rotten mess we're in.
Bush: Put Up Your Dukes

What do we all have left over to save every month? Invest? Hahahaha. What an insulting and disgusting jerk Bush really is. Save for your future? Most folks are living month to month and hoping nobody in the family gets sick.
As for reform of our health care system...we need universal health care for all, we're the only "civilized" country to bankrupt its citizens who have the misfortune to need medical care.
Bush

He met with his "economic advisers" and lied about our taxes. No questions allowed. He painted a rosy economic scenario. We all know foreclosures are up, up, up, nationwide. It's old news.
Bush blames the home owners. They should have read the fine print. We're headed into a major depression and it's going to blindside most Americans.
Struggling Middle Class

Liars. They want us in debt. We're more manageable that way.
Bush

A "soft landing" for whom? Bush and his thugs? Corporations?
Bush doesn't believe in helping Americans unless they're already wealthy and Republican.
All Your Money

Why isn't Congress helping the American people for whom they work?
Why has Congress continued to give Bush everything he wants?

ChickenDick Using Marines
Vice President's Remarks at the 84th National Convention of the Marine Corps League
Thank you all very much. At ease, please. (Laughter.) I appreciate the warm welcome. It's almost enough to make me want to run for office again. (Laughter.) Almost.

Asshole. He's happy to send Marines to die but not man enough to have served himself. He had "other priorities" when it came to serving his country in uniform. He got five deferments to avoid Vietnam. How dare he use our military as props for his warmongering. "War is an unpleasant business" he told the Marines. How the hell would HE know about war?

"I decline to answer"

As our "leadership" feels the month of August is a good time to take a vacation, the White House crooks can continue getting away with murder and mayhem. There's no possiblity of pursuing the DoJ and WH criminals until at least September.

Scott Jennings Declines to Answer
J. Scott Jennings
J. Scott Jennings was named February 3, 2006, by President George W. Bush as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Political Affairs. Mr. Jennings recently served as Associate Director in the Office of Political Affairs at the White House.

E-mail correspondence between Kyle Sampson and Scott Jennings
Rove, Bush's top political advisor, and Jennings were subpoenaed last week, one day after the House Judiciary Committee issued contempt of Congress citations against White House chief of staff Joshua Bolten and ex-legal counsel Harriet Miers, after they ignored subpoenas arising from the prosecutors row.

The chain of command; Bush to Rove, to Sara Taylor, former White House political director, to Jennings. Taylor showed utter contempt for Congress, Rove refused to testify and Jennings plead executive privilege for most questions. Taylor and Jennings said they'll only answer questions under a court order.

Taylor Jennings Rove-Unaccountable
Senate: Jennings Is Silent on U.S. Attorneys' Firings; Rove Is Absent

"I will be unable at this time to answer any questions concerning White House consideration, deliberations or communications related to the U.S. Attorneys matter," Jennings said.

41 DINO Traitors

And that's just the House of Representatives! These assholes sold us out to Gonzo's wiretapping. They are weak, lily livered cowards who have no business calling themselves Democrats. The vote.
FISA isn't good enough for Buschenco, they need to listen in on anyone they don't like at any time. One wonders what they "have" on the DINOs. Or is it as simple as their fear of being called weak on terrorism? They fell for the WH bullshit again.

Warrantless Wiretapping Democrats

How damned disappointing so many Democratic Senators are too scared to stand up for the Constitution and the PEOPLE of the United States. They don't deserve that "D" by their name. Either the "administration" has something on them or some very sleazy deals have been made. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

Dick Re-Tooled

How nice it must be to have free health care. We pay all Dick's medical costs. No insurance company will deny his claim for a pre-existing condition, up his deductible or kick him off his plan. Dick's a lucky man.
