Florida Bush

President Bush speaks at the U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command, Monday, July 31, 2006, in Miami Beach, Fla. (AP Photo/Haraz N. Ghanbari)

Yes, that's right folks, Iraq is worse, Afghanistan is worse, the Israelis are bombing the shit out of Lebanon, Syria is nervous, Neocons are chomping at the bit to nuke Iran and Mr. Dickhead has run off to Jebland for a photo op with the Coast Guard and to spout a bunch of distorted bullshit about the economy. He sounded drugged or drunk...what a fucking idiot. (Video at link)
Thanks for the warm welcome on a warm day. (Laughter.) I'm proud to be here in this really dynamic city. You know, it's an amazing part of our country, when you walk off and a member of the United States Congress says, "Bienvenido a Miami."

Hey, IDIOT! Stop Israel's genocide and while you're at it get the hell out of Iraq, Afghanistan and our White House too. Enough is enough!

Rice Cancels Beirut Trip

Condi arrived in Jerusalem for a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stating SHE had not set a deadline for a cease fire. She's "The Decider's" decider.
Rice argues an immediate ceasefire would serve no purpose unless the underlying causes of the conflict are addressed.
No purpose other than saving innocent lives. Rice announced she's canceled her trip to Beirut but Lebanese officials had already told her not to come. Lebanon cancels talks with RiceThe "war" isn't going well for Israel despite their superior firepower, yet they reject any truce or cease fire. Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora now says no talks are possible with Condi since the latest bombing of a refugee shelter in Qana. As any sane person could have predicted, support for Hezbollah is growing as the Israelis continue to invade and attack with total support of the U.S. Neocon government.

Update:Ceasefire Calls on the Rise, Israel Condemned for Qana Massacre. Israel suspends aerial attacks for 48 hrs with a 24 hr ultimatum to "get out of Dodge".

Israel's "precision bombing" continues to kill innocent civilians. Dozens Killed in Qana. (60+) The Israelis have an opportunity to do major damage to Lebanon until the Neocons decide it's time to stop the destruction of Lebanon's infrastructure and possibly invade Syria and/or bomb Iran.

Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz listens to U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, seen in the shadow, at the start of their meeting in Jerusalem July 30, 2006.

"No pressure" from U.S. on Israel. The bombing will continue.

Rice says she's coming back to the U.S. to "work" on U.N. resolution 1559. China and Russia, both with vested interests in the Middle East may have something to say about it. Bush said in his Saturday radio address, (The attack on Lebanon is) a crisis that began with Hezbollah's unprovoked terrorist attacks on Israel. He didn't go back far enough, before the capture of the two Israeli soldiers to Israelis killing civilians without provocation. The eye-for-an-eye retaliatory acts go back as far as the memories of all the people in the Middle East. George Bush displays his ignorance each time he opens his roll-filled mouth. His double standard for Israel continues: The U.S. has shipped more arms to Israel, Bush insists "Militias in Lebanon must be disarmed, the flow of illegal arms must be halted." Interestingly, the North Koreans, who have nuclear weapons, aren't asked to do the same and Israel has not been asked to comply with U.N. resolution 425 although they have been in violation, with impunity, for years.
The U.S. and Israel aren't interested in diplomatic solutions. They want to control the Middle East no matter how many innocent civilians have to die. Iran too, has something to say. Iran warns over U.N. resolution

For aed...some things are best left up to the imagination.

...

Asian "Security" Talks: Rice urges N.Korea to join the talks...what hypocrisy, she refuses to talk to the Syrians who are begging to negotiate over Lebanon. It must be true that having nukes makes the U.S. less likely to attack and more likely to want to talk.
Rice told the meeting in Kuala Lumpur that the United States was ready "at any time, at any place and without any conditions" to meet North Korea

When in Rome...
Condi says change the wording...and so it is.
Most of the officials in the room were seeking, at the very least, a phrase that said the group would “work towards an immediate ceasefire,” one of the diplomats said. But Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice refused, and won, he said.

“She insisted it say ‘work immediately to bring a ceasefire,’ not ‘work to bring an immediate ceasefire,’” the diplomat said. He said that the group argued about that for more than 30 minutes before ceding the point to the United States.

Despite that, rumor has it the Neocons want an even meaner and tougher approach to war. Perhaps they have another John Bolton type lurking in the wings.
Will Condi be replaced? Fired?

She arrived at the Istana hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur for the annual gala dinner wearing a glamorous red dress and red jacket made of traditional Malaysian batik material.

Multinational Farce=Lasting War

Two of the world's worst terrorists met today in the White House for another carefully controlled "press" conference with a total of six questioners allowed to ask "questions" while being glared at intimidatingly by the pResident's henchman, Josh Bolten. The transcript doesn't do justice to the embarrassment of witnessing the oaf in chief mangle language and try to make fratboy jokes while Lebanon is being bombed. Bush: Thank you all. Prime Minister Tony Blair, welcome back to the White House. As you know, we've got a close relationship. You tell me what you think. You share with me your perspective -- and you let me know when the microphone is on. (Laughter.) ??? To call that uncomfortable silence "laughter" is a misnomer, but it's what we expect from the white House of Propaganda."This conflict started, out of the blue, with two Israeli soldiers kidnapped and rockets being fired across the border"-Lieboy
The worst pResident in U.S. history wants Syria and Iran to comply with his wishes before he'll call off Israel's bombing of Lebanon. "Multinational Force", "Lasting peace" and "Stability", the official lying buzzwords from the warmongering Bozo Twins while lasting war continues and escalates...just like the PNAC gang always wanted. Is a multinational force the same as a coalition of the willing, if so, we're screwed. Blair's in the wrong party...Labour should kick him out and send him over to the Conservatives where he belongs. "In Lebanon, Hezbollah and its Iranian and Syrian sponsors are willing to kill and use violence to stop the spread of peace and democracy," Bush said. "They're not going to succeed." Bush said the plan developed by he [sic]and Blair would "make every effort to achieve a lasting peace out of this process." Bush:Iran give up your nukes first. Bush/Blair:"Multinational Force" For a change he told the truth: "This is a moment of intense conflict in the Middle East," Bush said. "Yet our aim is to turn it into a moment of opportunity and a chance for broader change in the region."

Uniter not a divider continues to drive a wedge between us and the entire world:
Many countries in Europe and the Middle East are calling for an immediate cease-fire and have deplored the impact of Israel's campaign on Lebanon. The gap between the United States and Britain and other nations has intensified some of the diplomatic strains that have existed since Bush invaded Iraq in 2003 with Blair as one of his chief international backers.

Bush and Blair remained united against many other European and Arab nations, by resisting calls for an immediate, unconditional end to Israel's campaign against Hezbollah militants that effectively control southern Lebanon.
This stance has been interpreted by Israel as a green light to continue its offensive as long as it takes to cripple the Shiite Muslim militant group.

How many protests worldwide will it take this time for them to ignore the will of the people like they did before they invaded Iraq?

An even more revolting item, we're sending bunker busters to Israel.
Blair had no problem with the idea of the U.S. helping to bomb Israel but the fact that the delivery didn't follow protocol.
British media reported on Wednesday that aircraft carrying "bunker-busting" bombs from the United States to Israel refueled at Prestwick airport in Scotland over the weekend.

Tasteless

Enticing Pickles. Tasteless? Maybe. But I'll tell you what's really tasteless; lying to the American public, killing people for oil, allowing Israel to kill innocent Lebanese people and UN observers, torturing people, spying on us, emptying out our treasury and putting us into severe debt, raising prices on basics, outsourcing all our manufacturing jobs, protecting corporate CEOs from the law, destroying infrastructures here and abroad, controlling our press, taking from the poor and giving to the obscenely wealthy, dismantling the government services we pay for with our taxes, telling us we're traitors if we object...the list goes on and on. Yes, there's tasteless, and then there's tasteless.

Update:Continued tastelessness...in the eye of the beholder

Pretzeldent addresses national manufacturers...

Is My Nose Growing?

Political imbecile's failure to curb Israel is going over like a lead balloon. The U.S. refuses to call for a cease fire in Lebanon, the rest of the world thinks it would be a good idea.
I am NOT an imbecile, I'm only a LIAR, or distorter of facts, if you will, for the worst gangsters in the world.

"Cease Fire must not retain status quo"-Rice. What the hell kind of idiotic, uncaring and insane statement is that to make? Rice is saying the U.S. condones the killing and maiming of innocent people. This vapid bitch does NOT speak for me! After listening to a plea to "stop the killing" from Lebanon's prime minister, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said the United States favors ending what she called "spasms of violence" in the region. She'd prefer blanket bombing by Israel?
Bush's Baby

It's possible she just has a headache, Cheney wants her out, incredibly she's not quite vicious and warlike enough for the neocons.
...
North Korea has defended its missile launches ahead of an Asian security forum expected to focus on them, describing US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as a "political imbecile" for criticising the tests. The North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) accused Rice, who called North Korea a "completely irresponsible" and "dangerous" state for test-firing seven ballistic missiles on July 5, of distorting the facts.
...
The news agency said the North is under threat of attack from "the worst gangsters in the world" after the Bush administration listed it as part of an "axis of evil." "It was none other than Rice who let loose a spate of such piffle over the launch of a few missiles as part of military training to cope with the US reckless moves for aggression and war," KCNA said. "This cannot be construed otherwise than an outburst made by a political imbecile."

Damn! I thought they'd buy every word!

Why the hell aren't they taking me seriously!

My husb...er, the president said this would be a cakewalk.
