Liars and Thugs

So much gnus, so little time. Lieboy thinks he has all the authority he needs. Protesters told him otherwise today. Perhaps it won't deter the neothugs but will hopefully embolden some Democrats and Republicans in the House and Senate. WE pay their salaries...they'd better pay attention! Bring our troops home NOW from the Neocon's wars.

"I'm the decision maker", Liar in Chief's new strategy...
NewStrategy

Chimpy attempted PR damage control pre-SOTU. A new plan...more troops.
I know we must succeed. And so I thought long and hard about would withdrawal cause victory or cause success. And the answer is I don't believe so, and neither do a lot of experts. And so then I began to think, well, if failure's not an option and we've gotta succeed, how best to do so? And that's why I came up with the plan I did.

The speech. Lies, lies, lies.

The Scooter-CIA-Leak case is thickening. CNN, MSNBC, Olbermann all report Rove has been subpoenaed and Ari Fleischer has been granted immunity for his impending testimony. Dick's ex press aide Cathie Martin has blown the doors off the propaganda manipulation from Cheney's office, akin to an Alex Butterfield moment in the Watergate hearings.

I'm hoping for surprise witnesses.

It's Time...IMPEACH Bush and Cheney

My preference would be to Impeach them together, this Congress can multi-task and the nation can handle the "disruption" just fine. To NOT impeach would be a crime against the Constitution, Americans and the rest of the world. We have an obligation to seek justice.
But if we have to choose, impeach Cheney first and sequester Lieboy during the proceedings.

Cheney Fox Gnus Interview:Transcript Chris Wallace sucked up to Dick, showing his true loyalty, tossing twisted softballs; his choice of words, Democrats "undercutting the troops" is beyond disgusting.

Cheney's responses, all said in a controlled dominator thuggish way, make it clear they believe they have all the authority they need. They've rigged the laws to make it so. Only impeachment can put the brakes on these thugs.

And Dick thinks spying on US is okay, it's LEGAL.

"The president is the commander in chief. He’s the one who has to make these tough decisions" Cheney said.

more than 34,000 civilians have been violently killed in Iraq during the past year -- an average of nearly 100 a day.

"He’s the guy who’s got to decide how to use the force and where to deploy the force,"Cheney said. "And Congress obviously has to support the effort through the power of the purse. So they’ve got a role to play, and we certainly recognize that. But you also cannot run a war by committee."

"They have absolutely nothing to offer in its place," Cheney said of Democratic leaders. "I have yet to hear a coherent policy from the Democratic side."

WITHDRAW! How's that for a policy? "Go fuck yourself!", Dick!

Condoleezza Rice is a LIAR

CondoleezzaLIAR
Senators vs. Rice
She didn't answer any questions. She circumlocuted all over the place and gestured wildly. Condi is the queen of obfuscation. Sending the surge of troops is simply "augmentation". Great idea, you stupid bitch. Condi has no business representing us overseas. She's a catalyst for disaster. But it's part of the neothug plan. It's easier to bomb Iran over deliberate misinterpretations and assumptions
Rice Opposes Outreach to Iran, Syria Over Iraq

Ssssssssssssssss

Barbara Boxer was right. Hooray! Shut up, Condi. "Impugned my character", MY ASS!
No Apology
(Boxer) said this to the Secretary of State: "Now, the issue is who pays the price. Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price. My kids are too old and my grandchild is too young. You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with immediate family. So who pays the price? The American military and their families."

A perfectly reasonable question. But the spin gang has turned it into an attack on Rice's non-marital status and her nulliparous condition. So? I think it's fair to ask a woman who advocates war to answer the question. Instead it's twisted sickly by Condi's pals in the media.

Foxy Condi

Condi Loves Fox Gnus
Overheard on an open microphone between morning television interviews, including one with Fox, the top U.S. diplomat said: "My Fox guys, I love every single one of them."

But Rice told an aide that when she was next in Iraq she would like to do a "one-on-one" interview with CBS "The Early Show" anchor Harry Smith.

"He's a decent guy. I know they are like 55 in the ratings, but I like him," Rice said in comments monitored by Reuters on a television feed.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee had fireworks and lots of lies. Condi is a liar. Some senatorial spines were showing. She says it's an "augmentation" not a troop increase? Incredible. It's time to stop the thugs. They've gone too far. We "Liberals" who are much maligned by the MSM warned you years ago that they were criminals. War Criminals. Senators to Bush: Stay out of Iran. Hey guys, he's already there.
~~~~~~~
Biden called Bush's plan, "escalation" and a "tragic mistake".
Sen. Joseph Biden, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, warned Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that Bush did not have the authority to send U.S. troops on cross-border raids."I believe the present authorization granted the president to use force in Iraq does not cover that, and he does need congressional authority to do that," Biden, D-Delaware, said during a Thursday hearing on Iraq. "I just want to set that marker." (Watch heated exchanges between Rice and several senators Video)link.
Stay the Surge
Text and video
January 10, 2007
pResident's Address to the Nation
The Library
Criticism Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska told Rice the president's plan was “the most dangerous foreign policy blunder in this country since Vietnam, if it's carried out.”
LA Times"In choosing to escalate the war, the president virtually stands alone," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said in a statement today.
And hahahaha, here it comes. The walls are closing in on liars, Condi. Planning her escape leaving it to Negroponte so she can exit unscathed? Too late. Scathed, she is.
"We in the State Department recognize the need for a diplomatic surge," she said. "We need to get diplomats out of the Green Zone, into Iraq."
At one point during her testimony, a protester yelled out, "More lies…all lies…stop the lies!"
Neothugs just love those surging bulging hard words. Their depravity is multi-dimensional. She should send Bush and Cheney out of Iraq's heavily fortified Green Zone right away with Maliki leading the tour. Oh, that's right, she said diplomats.
Listening to the generals on the ground? Nah.
Abizaid recognizes a surge merely prolongs the chaos.
Army Gen. John P. Abizaid, the outgoing Middle East commander, has resisted increasing the visibility of U.S. forces in Baghdad, arguing that it would inflame Iraqi civilians and prevent Iraqi forces from taking on the security burden themselves.
Miscellaneous press coverage of "speech" at editorandpublisher
Gordon Johndroe was sent down the street to gaggle the press on Lieboy's plans for the day.
Q Can you preview a little bit of what the President is going to say today to the troops?
MR. JOHNDROE: The President is going to, one, thank them for their service in the global war on terror -- personnel from Fort Benning have, one, a long tradition of being deployed overseas in battles for the United States, but most recently in the global war on terror in Afghanistan and in Iraq -- thank them for their service; thank the family members that are here for the sacrifices they make when their loved one is overseas. And then he's going to talk about his speech last night and the mission he outlined and the way ahead in Iraq.
Bubble Boy is sealed in tightly...off to sell his "plan" to troops at Fort Benning. Another nice captive audience of well-wishers, under orders. His audiences have always been tightly controlled so I doubt we'll see "the public" anywhere near him or Dick for the rest of their reign.
Fabulous, we've shut the door on "talks" with Syria and Iran...makes it easier to bomb them due to miscommunication. Condi won't talk.
It made mentally ill McCain happy. Blood and treasure....arrrrr. Revenge for past injustices, his own capture, he sees America as the chickenshit peacenicks who didn't rescue him for YEARS! He'll take his pound of flesh wherever he can get it.
Some in Congress defended the policy. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said today that the Bush plan may not guarantee success, but it's worth trying because the consequences of failure are greater. "If we do fail," McCain said, "there is going to be chaos in the region and we will pay an even heavier price in American blood and treasure."
Snowjob 'Splains Pretzeldential Powers
No balance of powers bullshit for these guys. No, they have all the authority they need to do whatever strikes their fancy. They won't leave willingly. Take them to court, charge them with high crimes and misdemeanors, you say? Alito is there to assist Scalia with the Unitary Executive's benediction. Time to act.
Snow said, "The president has the ability to exercise his own authority if he thinks Congress has voted the wrong way."
This is so very wrong on so many levels.
He's declared himself The Dictator, King George the Decider of America.
In the meantime, Jack who?
Surge Backwards
Bush to send more troops, contrary to most advice, from the field to the House. More troops and money because they haven't yet wasted enough troops or money so far?
Military surge not enough to save Iraq , U.S. commander says
Lt. Gen. Raymond Odierno said he believed that a combination of jobs, provincial elections, anti-militia legislation and stronger Iraqi security forces could stop the nation's plunge toward all-out civil war. Lt. Gen. Peter Chiarelli, his predecessor, spelled out the same approach before his departure one month ago.
Up to 30,000 extra troops to crack down on insurgents? I dunno, George. It hasn't worked too well so far. Where's that cake walk you pushed before you attacked? Where are those WMDs you swore we'd find? How about those mushroom clouds?
Letter from Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House to the savages in power. And heck, she even has a plan.
"Adding more combat troops will only endanger more Americans and stretch our military to the breaking point for no strategic gain."
"Rather than deploy additional forces to Iraq, we believe the way forward is to begin the phased redeployment of our forces in the next four to six months, while shifting the principal mission of our forces there from combat to training, logistics, force protection and counter-terror."
It looks more like a surge to do a final purge. If I were an Iraqi which of these "plans" would I choose?
What Congress Can Do For America by Lieboy Bush. The total nerve of him! He's had Congress in his pocket since the day he stole office. He's the one who's responsible for what the 110th Congress now has to clean up. The messes he has made will take a generation to fix...unless we get more crooks like him in power in which case we're doomed. The rotten little thief wants to keep the tax cuts for his rich buddies. The cost of survival out here has gone into orbit. He's dismantled our infrastructure. He took our tax money we meant for the support of society as a whole and gave it to his family and friends. He has weakened our military while making contractors rich. He's a lying thug. He has no conscience. Don't you get it yet, America? He's LYING. The percentage of Americans who still support his actions has shrunk but one wonders what the hell they're thinking. What's to like? The facts are appalling. Google his "accomplishments". Bush has made things harder for the middle class and left destruction in his wake here and abroad, all the while using the MSM to cover for him. (Fairness Doctrine; FCC Regulations; Telecommunications Act of 1996; Media Matters)
Why isn't everyone absolutely outraged? Could it be they don't know the facts?
Oh, NOW he wants cooperation and bipartisanship? NOW he wants a balanced budget, now that he's emptied our treasury and sent us spiraling into debt. NOW he wants to curb earmarks. NOW is too late for cash strapped home owners all over the country. NOW isn't soon enough for our troops.
Hahahaha, he wants a line item veto as well.
To help rein in wasteful spending and restore fiscal discipline in Washington, I call on Congress to give the President the tool that 43 governors have, a line-item veto.
Take away his signing statement power first. Where's Cheney these days...he's got mail! Our mail. Chimpy can barely read but Dick sure can. And he's still there putting us all into data banks. He needs to fill the detention centers Halliburton has built here.
Let's just hope to hell the new congress focuses on NOW. Fix what the GOP has done to us FIRST, we'll worry about 2008 after we see what you can accomplish for US. As for the disruptive obstructionists to the will of the people, Republicans, we'll be watching and making up our own minds about the impact of Pelosi's first 100 hours and the ramifications for 2008. Thanks anyway We do NOT need to kiss GOP ass in the name of bipartisanship. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Stiff upper lip, Dems! Get cracking! Time's a-wasting. Ignore 2008 and focus on NOW. Of by and for US.
Health care costs, prescription costs, retirement, tuition, salaries....these are heavy concerns out here in the real world. The MSM needs to get real or shut the hell up with the horse shit spin on whether or not Democrats can be fair...after being shivved in the back for twelve years. The economy is NOT doing well, health education and welfare are NOT doing well, the war is NOT going well, we're NOT making progress, we're NOT respected anywhere any more. We're heading down not up and it didn't have to happen. The media has withheld and continues to withhold crucial information from the public. Big corporations control what we see and hear. The odds are still against us, fuck fair. The thugs see "nice" as a sign of weakness.
Disgusting.
McCain and Lieberwhore, speaking before ultra-wingers at the AEI, promoted sending more troops, escalation, everyone's a terrorist, more war, killing, killing, killing. McCain clearly wants revenge for Vietnam and has some unfinished business with his daddy not loving him enough. The American Enterprise Institute view/take on Iraq fits John and Joe perfectly...scary. They're all certifiable. To whom are they appealing? Other loony toons like Cheney/Neothugs who think we should attack the hell out of the rest of the world first and take their stuff. Weaken them. Dominate them. Kill them. Money, power...kill.
McCain wants to surge and surge to avenge his capture. He's a bitter man and tightly wound. His measured monotone belies his need to explode violently.
It didn't work then, it won't work now.
Who's in charge? Us, or a gang of thugs?
Top Ten 2006 Bushisms per politicalwire.com
Global Language Monitor used a computer algorithm to track President Bush's comments in the print and electronic media over the last year to develop a list of the top ten "Bushisms."
1. I'm the Decider.
2. I use The Google.
3. It was not always certain that the U.S. and America would have a close relationship.
4. I've got an ek-a-lec-tic reading list
5. The only way we can win is to leave before the job is done.
6. Stay the course.
7. When the final history is written on Iraq, it will look just like a comma.
8. The Congress was right to renew the Terrorist Act.
9. I want to be a war president; no president wants to be a war president.
10. The fiscal year that ended on February the 30th.
That list doesn't quite do justice to how rotten and stupid he really is.One of my old favorites: "If this were a dictatorship it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator"
That Was The Week That Was ....
...it's over let it go. So went the opening song on That Was The Week That Was (TW3). They tore strips off politicians. It was a big hit. It's how David Frost got his start. (Yes, and look at him now. Egad.)
But this is a week I won't let go...it's too big. It's too historic. Nancy Pelosi took the gavel as the first woman Speaker of the House of Representatives. It's about bloody time! She's not quite angry enough for my tastes but she's a good woman who cares about the people of this country. And she's going to stop the war from surging forward. Finally, somebody is listening to the will of the people.
The rightwing talking points are about supposed "failure" of the new congress to be bi-partisan. The Democrats are off to a fine start despite the Republican-spun lies to the contrary. Maybe they're nervous about investigations. They should be.
We can't just forget the viciousness of the GOP for the past twelve years. We haven't forgotten the impeachment hearings from hell over blow jobs. We haven't forgotten the secret votes into the middle of the night to fuck us over on health care, retirement and things that matter to us. We haven't forgotten Sensenbrenner turning off the microphones, hearings in basements, the list is very long. Bi-partisan? Fuck off. I'm not a "nice" Democrat. I watch the ruthless shenanigans on the floors of the House and Senate on C-SPAN. More people should watch them in action minus the MSM spin. It's a real eye opener.
Bush has a "new" strategy, surge and shuffle, or shuffle and surge. Win the mission. He looks more moronic than ever but the meanness is right there on his face. He doesn't like this part of his reign...his rubber stamp is gone. It's bail out the boy time. The story of his nasty life. Blunder, bail, blunder, bail.
Now, Harriet, his work wife is leaving his side. Harriet Miers to step down as White House counselWhy? We're not given much of a clue although a Texas judge spot isn't beyond the realm of possibility as a nice reward for her continued loyalty and devotion to Lieboy as a good christian man.
Miers said it was "hard to leave the tasks at hand." She gave no reason for her departure. Snow called her "an extraordinarily wonderful human being, but also somebody who is a very careful and scrupulous lawyer, a ferocious defender of the Constitution, and somebody who was also deeply loyal to the president, and just somebody who is a delight to work with." Her departure, he said, was "bittersweet," but "she has decided that it's time to move on."
She has a look-a-like in Miami on CNN gnus, Susan Candiotti.
She could always get a TV "consultant" spot if she's up to that much spotlight. People might ask too many tricky questions. Such as...why did your boss ignore the terrorist attack warnings? Did you counsel him to ignore them? Or did he Decide that himself? Who had input? Oh, that's right, client/attorney privilege. She never has to tell. She's loyal to Dubya, not the U.S.
General Chaos
"One thing is for certain: I will want to make sure the mission is clear and specific and can be accomplished,"Bush said.
One thing is certain, the Bushies have no intention of leaving Iraq yet, there's still money to be skimmed from our taxes. They don't care what we think. Lieboy's shuffling deck chairs on the Hindenburg again. The surge is opposed by Abizaid and Casey so they're out. Shuffle in boyz, Adm. William Fallon and Army Lt. Gen. David Petraeus. The Decider only listens to the generals if they agree with him. Just ask Shinseki, et al.
The Neocons function best when all is chaos. They can steal more and hide the evidence much more efficiently while we're all distracted by their wars. Mass confusion and mayhem provide cover for further robbery. Surge, it will be. Bushco already has the funding and the authority to order more troops. They won't stop willingly. It's far too lucrative.
Abizaid is retiring. Gates has proposed Casey as Army Chief of Staff.
Bush is putting the intelligence community further under military control while he still can. Military taking over Intelligence Negroponte has moved to Deputy Secretary of State. The bad news is he's still around. Do N. Korea and China need Death Squad training?
"Each of them will do good work in their new positions, and it is vital that they take up their new responsibilities promptly," Bush said on Friday.
"I would hope that they will be confirmed as quickly as possible," said the president, speaking to the new Senate now under Democratic control.
The insanity doesn't end there, Chimpy wants Zalmay Khalilzad to replace nasty-piece-of-work John Bolton as U.S. Amb to UN. Another PNAC boy just in case anyone was wondering who still runs the show.
The Wall Street Journal would have us believe Bush wrote an op ed piece for them.
I will be addressing our nation about a new strategy to help the Iraqi people gain control of the security situation and hasten the day when the Iraqi government gains full control over its affairs.
But Pelosi and Reid have other ideas.
Democrats attack surge option
As the President gets ready to unveil his new Iraq strategy, Reid and Pelosi make clear they will fight any plan to increase the number of troops on the ground
They don't even pretend to work very hard. We're at war in Iraq but Lieboy and Dick only have time for a quick conference call to Maliki. Shouldn't they get on a plane and go to see what's happening first hand in Iraq? Maybe see what Maliki's up to? Oh, that's right, it's too dangerous and they don't care enough anyway. Vacation Boy has been secretly transported to the Green Zone hangars twice, briefly, the first with a plastic turkey. AWOL Chickenhawk and Five Deferments are deciderating this war from behind a desk and spinning a mission nobody wants.
In this photo provided by the White House, President George W. Vice President Dick Cheney is pictured sitting next to the President. (AP Photo/The White House, Eric Draper)
The new "Situation Room" where the Decider is decisional and Dick tells people to go fuck themselves is ready but the "press" room's renovations aren't finished. Our fourth estate is down the street and they need escorts to get onto the White House grounds. It might be my imagination but they seem a bit more pissed off at being tools lately and although it's never an accident to be called upon they seem a bit testier. The neothugs are secretive to a fault. We pay the price. Our troops pay the price. Iraqis pay the price. People all over the world pay the price. Some say impeachment shouldn't be an issue while we have so much to do...I say, multi-task and give us justice!
Bush has ignored "his generals" all along.
Gen. Eric Shinseki, former Army Chief of Staff
Marine Gen. Anthony Zinni, former CENTCOM commander
Lt.Gen. Greg Newbold, Director of Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff
Maj.Gen. John Batiste, former 1st Infantry Division commander
Maj.Gen. Charles Swannack, former commander of the 82d Airborne Division in Iraq
Maj.Gen. John Riggs who, after 39 years in the Army, retired from the Pentagon in 2005
Maj.Gen. Paul Eaton, who oversaw training of Iraqi troops from 2003-2004
The list keeps growing.
Please Don't Kill Me!
Those infamous words smirked by the Torturer in Chief re: convicted murderer, Karla Faye Tucker as she pleaded with him for her life illustrate his cruel and contemptuous attitude towards death/life. Her born-again status cut no ice with the pretender. He enjoyed having her killed. If only she'd been a fetus.
George W. Bush is a sociopath. Justin A. Frank, M.D., Author of "Bush on the Couch" Gets to the Heart of the Matter: We Have a Sociopath as President-via Buzzflash.
Saddam was a bad man. That's true. The Bush family knew him well, they were pals until Bush Sr. and Baker double crossed Hussein. Saddam had to die from the Bushco perspective. He knew too much. Dead men tell no tales.
The Saddam hanging is all over the internet. What a truly disgusting scenario. The whole world is revolted. But not uncurious George who allegedly hasn't seen the video...it's not his "focus".Official Statement
Creating a martyr
"Bringing Saddam Hussein to justice will not end the violence in Iraq," Mr. Bush said in a statement. "But it is an important milestone on Iraq's course to becoming a democracy."
No, it will increase the violence. Lieboy will be responsible for more deaths. And he won't care or listen. Everything he does takes us deeper into the abyss.
Instead of instant martyrdom, life in prison could have yielded important information about Saddam's CIA connections over the past 40 years. From a U.S. standpoint it would have been better to keep him alive. But not for the Bushes. They're ruthless, so he's dead. The Bush Crime Family excels at evidence destruction. Witnesses are expensive liabilities. With a joke a flag and a photo op Bush insults us every time he opens his lying yap.
